She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Reynolds and Thrulie Reynolds (Ringstaff); her family Franklin; her husband Robert Guthrie Jr.; her siblings, Ray, Blanche, Dorothy, Hazel and Vernie; and her son-in-law Leonard Hempel.
She is survived by: her former husband Franklin Brookins; her children, Sandra Stevens (Jim), Teresa Hempel and Perry Brookins (Sheila); her stepson Robert Guthrie III; her grandchildren, Angela, Saundra, Patricia, Franklin, Lyla and Alyssa; and her stepgrandchildren, Doug and Molly. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
