He was predeceased by: his parents, Othey Freeman and Elza Freeman (Ross); his wife Shirley West; his son Rob; and his siblings, Lilburn Freeman, Jean Bobo and Delora Freeman.
He is survived by: his children, William, Ann Phillips (Chester) and James (Cathy). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great and great great-grandchildren.
