He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Nielsen and Martha Nielsen; and his siblings, Pearl Pedde, Evelyn Crane and Alvin Nielsen.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie; his children, Rhonda Nielsen and James Nielsen (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Kristina Koerber (Sean) and Eric Nielsen; his great grandchildren, Amelia and Alexandra Koerber; his friends, Joan Werry and Vern Robilliard; and his sibling Jean (Jim).
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the American Polish Century Club (33204 Maple Ln Dr, Sterling Heights, MI 48312).
