She is survived by: her children, Laura Joswiak, Martin, Daniel, Diane and Michael; and her grandchildren, Jordan (Alice) and Derek.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home (30351 Dequindre Rd, Madison Heights, MI 48071). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Louise de Marillac Catholic Parish (2500 12 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48092).
Donations can be made in Ruth's honor to a charity she held dear to her heart, Michigan.
