She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Merdian and Laura Merdian; and her sisters, Carol Miner and Kathy Shaffer. She is survived by: her husband John Andersen; her sons, James of Centerline, Andrew (Kellie) of Pontiac and Steven (Morgan Dodson) of Kentwood, Michigan; her siblings, Betty Milthaler of Freemont, Janice Hudson (Dennis) of Lansing, Michigan and Craig Merdian (Lena) of Traverse City, Michigan; and her grandchildren, Harvey and Micah. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
