She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Habib and Josephine Habib; her husband John Elek; her children, James Elek and Mary Jo Gale (Steve); her grandchildren, Ricky Vagts, Danni Vagts, Joshua Gale and Jessica Gale; her siblings, Dicky Habib (Amy), Bill Habib (Madeline) and Jim Habib (Karen); her nephews, David and Nicholas Habib; her niece Meghan; her great-nieces, Abigail, Emily and Hailey Habib; her great-nephew David; and her cousins, Barbara, Elaine and Michael.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the A. H. Peters Funeral Home (32000 Schoenherr Rd, Warren, MI 48088). A prayer will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
