She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Sims and Zannie Sims; her husband Allan Joseph; and her grandson Sean. She is survived by: her children, James, Kathy (Andy) and Tim (Christine); her grandchildren, Christopher (Jennifer), Curt (Tina), Brian (Erin), Mike (Jill), Katy (Mike), Brent (Ashley), Ryan, Jonathon, Michael, Ross, Rachel (Derek) and Abbey (Patrick); her great grandchildren, Harley, Courtney, Audrey, Wyatt, Kate, Carter, Maya, Marcy, Nash, Oliver and Kayla; and her sister Mildred. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mandziuk & Son Funeral Directors (3801 18 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314). A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (4401 Bart Ave, Warren, MI 48091). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark Catholic Church.
