He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Kaczmarski; his daughters, Joanne Hungerman (Bob), Terri Gang (Bob) and Cindy Dahlin (Scott); and his grandchildren, Max and Audrey.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wasik Funeral Home - Warren (11470 E Thirteen Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48093). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the same location. The lying in state will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Martin de Porres Catholic Church (31555 Hoover Rd, Warren, MI 48093). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
For the last twelve years of his life, Walter faced Parkinson's disease with courage and determination.
