He was predeceased by: his parents, Max (Florence Mayes) and Bill; and his sister Joan Bastuba. He is survived by: his wife Janet C. Mayes; his children, Jeff Mayes (Anne Marie), Larry Mayes, Priscilla Mayes and Natalie Svoeuy (late Erik); his grandchildren, Tyler (Kortney), Mia, Samantha and Nick; and his siblings, Leon Mayes (Josie), Sylviann Seefelt (Bob) and Diane Richardson (Jerry). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
