He was predeceased by : his parents, Frank Cardillo and Anna Cardillo (Turchetti); and his brothers-in-law, Edward Ignash, Nicolina Kulinski (David) and Charles Basch.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Westrope; his children, Tony Cardillo (Barbara), Joseph Cardillo (Kim), Lori Butcher (late John) and Gina Cardillo; his grandchildren, Jodi Inman (Ryan), Dominic Cardillo (Lisa), Doug Cardillo (Kayla), Jason Butcher, Frank Butcher (Rachel) and Stephanie Ludeman (Glen); and his sibling Michaelina Basch. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
