With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerome Sroka of Washington Township, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on December 22, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Roman Sroka and Agnes Sroka (Svitnitch); his grandson Jordan Sroka; and his siblings, Steve Flowers, Adelaide Wedyke and Lorraine Ferguson.

He is survived by : his children, Duane Sroka (Nancy) of Fort Gratiot, Keith Sroka (Colleen) of Rochester Hills, Donna Sroka of Chesterfield, Marie Sroka of Harrison Township and Darryl Sroka of Macomb; and his great grandchildren, Chloe, Bella and A'mya. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

“I had the pleasure of working with Jerry at Howard Plating. He would go out of his way for anyone. He was a very genuine and extremely kind person who made you feel at home. Each year in July, Jerry would dress up as a Good Humor Ice Cream Man and hand out Good Humor ice cream . He will be deeply missed.”
