It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Taras Szymon (Washington, Michigan), who passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John and Helen; his daughters, Lorraine DeJean, Lara Lozser (Markus), Heather Hood (Mike) and Suzanne Budd (Ned); his sister Elizabeth Ottoy (late Joseph); his grandchildren, Christopher (Megan), Gregory, Kylie, Parker, Brooke, Aidan and Carsten; his great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Connor, Brayden and Keegan; his wife Karen; his stepson Steven DeJean; John and Helen. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Boy Scouts of America.
