He was predeceased by: his wife Maria Mauro; his daughter Laura Mauro Kymla; his parents, John Mauro and Elvira Mauro; and his siblings, Clara Schmidt (Harvey), Gloria Kane (Robert) and Robert Mauro.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elvira Feliksa (Michael), Roseanne Jewell (James), Barbara Brazier (William), Judith Schwartz (Michael), Teresa Schmidt (Michael), Jane Mauro and Ann Mauro-Vetter (Timothy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
