He is survived by: his child Jerry Kitchen; his former wife Dorothy Hooper; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Kitchen (Adriana), Tyler Kitchen and Kaylee Kitchen; his great grandchildren, Aurora and Colette; and his siblings, John Kitchen (Gina), Paul Kitchen (late Phylis), Lila Birchmeier (Dick), Beth Hawkins (Phil) and Ann Reeves.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Coats Funeral Home – Waterford (3141 Sashabaw Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48329). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
