She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Short and Margaret Short (Duncan); and her brother Cliff Short. She is survived by: her husband James R. Hyde; her sons, Michael Hyde and Matthew Hyde; her granddaughter Buffy Hyde; and her siblings, James Short and Diane Soligo.
