He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Asdell and Wanita Asdell; and his in-laws, Paul and Monnie Shaughnessy. He is survived by: his spouse Erin; his son Don Asdell (Ashley); his grandchildren, Alex, Eva, Elin, Emrie and Eve; his siblings, Walter Asdell (Nancy), Jack Asdell (Janet), Donna Asdell, Candy Dixon (Randy), Tom Asdell (Judi), Kim Leason (late Dave), Tammy Ireland (Jerry), Faith Cameron (Ewen) and Stephen Strye (Lynn); his goddaughters, Bridget Oldham (Matt), Molly Beeckman (Jeff) and Kathleen Maxwell (Mat); and his close friend Candy.
