He was predeceased by : his parents, Warner Hardy and Leone Hardy; and his sister Gail. He is survived by : his wife Sue; his sons, Michael Hardy (Melissa) and Daniel Hardy; his grandsons, Evan Hardy (Nora), Ethan Hardy and Ian Hardy (Lizzie); and his great grandchild Michaela Sue.

Visitation was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Coats Funeral Home (3141 Sashabaw Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48329). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Coats Funeral Home-Waterford (3141 Sashabaw Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48329).
