He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Floyd and Francis Smith; and his brother Daniel Smith (Cheryl). He is survived by: his children, Ryan and Jillian (Michael Dempsey-Klott); his wife Lisa Taylor; and his brother James Smith (late Sandra). He is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
