We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2023, at the age of 97, Gertrude May Edwards of Waterford, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Kassel and Florence Kassel; her husband Richard V. Edwards, Jr.; and her siblings, Richard Kassel (Alexa), Dorothy Spivey, Donald Kassel, Raymond Kassel, Robert Kassel and Marlene Kassel.

She is survived by : her children, Charlotte Isanhart, Paul Edwards (Alice) and Vickie Legel (John); and her siblings, Joan Matties and Roy (Roxanne Kassel). She is also survived by foster parent with Lutheran Children's Friend.

Memorial donations in Gertrude's name may be made to Lourdes Rehab and Nursing Home.
