He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Buettner and Frieda Buettner (Laursen); and his brother Gordon Buettner. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Buettner; his children, Scott Buettner (Sharni) and Tammy Schwab (Bill); his grandson Bryan Hughes (Danielle Wrinkle); his great grandchildren, Danielle Hughes, Harper Hughes and Baby Hughes; his sister-in-law Darlene Matala (Stan); his niece Lisa Matala; his close friend Ron Bosek; his extended family Samantha Wasnich; and his pet Gracie. He is also survived by friends and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Larry's honor to the Waterford Senior Center, a place where he spent many hours in their woodshop.
