He was predeceased by: his former wife Alicia "Jo" Gipe; his siblings, Thomas Gipe (Mary Carol) and Karen Bonnett (late Ron); and his mother Alice. He is survived by: his children, Charles Gipe (Diane), Elizabeth Ranes (Jim), Jennifer Gipe and Marie Siebert (Russell); his grandchildren, Jackie Gipe, Katie Crofoot (Ross), Nate Gipe, Sam Gipe, Maggie Gipe, Gabe Gipe, Emma DiMarco, William Hankins, Griffin Hankins, Jacob Honchell, Alexandra Honchell, Alex Siebert, Cora Siebert and Spencer Siebert; his great grandchildren, Celine Hankins and Ellie Wang; his wife Mary Elizabeth Doden; and his son Charley.
