With sadness, we share the passing of Laura A. Petar in Waterford, Michigan. Laura, born on April 9, 1934, passed away on September 4, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Stevenson and Alice Stevenson; and her spouse Dallas Anderson. She is survived by: her sister Nancy Phalen (William); her daughters, Susan McIntyre (late Richard), Nancy Fields (Allen) and Cathy Wright (Robert); and her stepchildren, Bren Petar (Katherine), Carol Ahnen (late Dennis) and Katherine VanderElzen (Thomas).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew Episcopal Church (5301 Hatchery Rd, Waterford Twp, MI 48329). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
