She was predeceased by: her husband W. Weston Meyer; her sister Sara "Sally" Skillman (late Newt Jr.); her nephew Gregory Smith; her great-nephews, Philip Skillman and Garrett Skillman; and her parents, Clifford Ekelund and Katharine Ekelund.

She is survived by: her sister Georgia "Dodie" Smith (Bruce); her nephews, Christopher Skillman (Nancy), David Smith (Shelly), Newton "Tony" Skillman (Yvonne), Stephen Skillman (Pam), Donald Meyer (Kim), Michael Smith (Nancy), Tim Skillman (Jean) and Doug Smith (Sabrina); and her niece Amy Skillman.
