He is survived by: his wife Jodi Ruiz; his mother Marie Ruiz; his child Chanell Ruiz; his sibling Chris Ruiz; his nieces and nephews, Julia, Denenna, Matthew, Martien, Andres and Elora; and his grandchild Laylah.
