He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Legrand; and his daughter Alexis Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Johnson; his daughters, Amanda Johnson, Ashley Johnson, Amber Johnson, Brooke Lilley, Betina DuBois, Trisha Travnikar, Kimberly Shannon and Brittany Travnikar; and his grandchildren, Andre Harris, Taniyah Dukes, Mya Sutton, Maurice Grantham, Marcel Myers, Taylor Miller, Alexis Johnson, Braydon Miller, Wyatt Lilley-Dickerson, Olivia Schleicher, Weston Schleicher, Keira DuBois, Adam Travnikar, Aiden Shannon, Brody Shannon and Eleanor Shannon. He is also survived by father but a true friend to his daughters.
Visitation was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel (46 Williams St, Pontiac, MI 48341). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Johnson Residence (43400 Lenfesty Dr, Harrison Township, MI 48045). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
