Teddie Alvin Johnson Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on September 16, 2023, at the age of 88, Teddie Alvin Johnson of Waterford, Michigan, born in Pontiac, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Johnson and Evelyn Johnson (Denham); his wife Leora Johnson; his girlfriend Edna; his son Teddie Johnson, Jr.; and his siblings, Betty Hunt, Bobby Johnson, Jerry Johnson and Judy Nixon.

He is survived by: his children, Vera Watchpocket (John), Raymond Johnson, Tracy Patton and Gary Johnson (Carol "CJ" Caples); his grandchildren, Johnny Watchpocket, Michael Patton, Airica Handa, Samantha Potulsky, Corey Johnson, Jessica Bauer (Cody) and Jeremy Patton-Schleben; his great grandchildren, Nicholas Handa, Benjamin Handa, Damon Bauer and Liliana Bauer; his brother Marvin Johnson (Beth); and his brother-in-law Larry Nixon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
