He was predeceased by: his parents, Jennings Saling and Wanda Saling (Welsh); and his siblings, Omega Saling, Joyce Gibson, Shirley Pennebaker and Keith Saling.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Saling (Cook); his children, Aimee (Kevin), Stacey (Marc) and Erin (Jillian); and his grandchildren, Harmon, Simon, Elsa and Wesley. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
