He was predeceased by: his parents, Plessie Hamblen and Helen Marshall Hamblen. He is survived by: his wife Betty Lee; his son Anthony Wayne Hamblen of Pontiac, Michigan; and his siblings, Jimmy D. Hamblen (Jane) of North Vernon and Janice E. Bruner (Lloyd) of Columbus, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorials may be given through the funeral home to Mount Zion Cemetery Association of Brown County or to the Michigan Palliative and Hospice Care, who provided exceptional home care to the family during these last few months.
