He was predeceased by: his parents, James Patton and Alta Patton; his wife Susan Wall; and his siblings, Beverage, Marion, Rolla, Pauline, Katherine and Velma.
He is survived by: his brother Harry; his in-laws, Davey Willans (Nancy), John Hevel and Nancy Mitchell (John); his children, Larry (Jennifer), Steve Patton (Stephanie), Leanne Pearce (Chuck), Lori Nicklas (Sean) and David Pollack (Kathy); and his great grandchildren, Will (Bridgette), Oliver, Penelope Patton, Jonathan (Bri), Rae, Ruby Patton, Anna Patton, Ryan Nicklas, Erin Zeeryp (Max), Alexis, Elizabeth Pearce, Peter, Valerie and Vincent Pollock.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hurdling Handicaps which has established the Bill and Sue Patton Scholarship fund to help families affected by disability to attend the Great Getaway camp.
