In loving memory of Douglas Kopp (Watervliet, Michigan), born in Chicago, Illinois, who departed this world on October 7, 2025 at the age of 81. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Kopp and Frances Kopp (Zawadaski); and his sister Barbara Munn. He is survived by: his wife Diane Kopp; his children, Doug Kopp (Zita Abel), Brian Kopp (Lisa), Jennifer Owens (Mike) and Jeremy Kopp (Roxy Shabestari); his grandchildren, Bret, Shawn, Lucas Kopp, Cameron, Evan and MJ Owens; and his siblings, Harry Kopp and Connie Kopp. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hutchins Funeral Home (209 S Main St, Watervliet, MI 49098). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (157 Lucinda Ln, Watervliet, MI 49098). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery (157 Lucinda Ln, Watervliet, MI 49098).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Birthright of St. Joseph, St. Joseph Catholic Parish in Watervliet, or Our Lady of the Lake in Holland.
