It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elma VanLoon Doty (Watervliet, Michigan), who passed away on August 19, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her granddaughter Shawna Tober; her parents, Claire Jennings and Mildred Jennings (Lampson); and her siblings, Fay Jennings, Judd Jennings, Leah Tonkin and Rena Mae Jennings.

She is survived by : her children, Carole Kiernan (Michael), Catherine Jackson (Rick), Curtis VanLoon (Robin), Craig VanLoon, Christopher VanLoon (Karen), Corinne VanLoon and Carla King (Ken); and her grandchildren, Jason Kiernan (Laura), Jared Carlisle, Jordan Carlisle, Leslie Lillie (Josh), Matthew Andrews (Angela), Christopher VanLoon II, Nichole Hilligoss (Josh), CJ VanLoon, Rachel Costilla (Jacob) and Ethan King.

Memorials may be made to North Berrien Historical Society or Caring Circle Hospice.
