We bid farewell to Gladys Athalie Hansen of Watervliet, Michigan, born in Benton Harbor, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 21, 2025 at the age of 97. Gladys Athalie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Otte and Letty Otte; her husband Carl Hansen; her daughter Susan; her siblings, Robert, Richard, William, Wayne, James and Lorayne Dahms; and her sister-in-law Harriett Stanford Schramm.
She is survived by: her daughter Laurie Kibler (Bruce) of Watervliet; her grandsons, Eric Kibler (Abby Grajek) of Detroit and Ryan Kibler (Olivia Thibeault) of Seattle, WA.; her great grandchild Lewis Kibler of Detroit; her brother Allen "Pat" Otte of North Carolina; and her sister-in-law Frances Otte of Coloma. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; plus close family friends.
