Gordon R. VanDrasek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gordon R. VanDrasek of Watervliet, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 3, 2025 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Gordon R. VanDrasek to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph "Ake" VanDrasek and Marien VanDrasek (Yates); his son-in-law James Robillard; and his siblings, John "Jack" VanDrasek, Delores Miller (Maurice "Maurie"), Anna "Marie" Wendzel (Douglas), Norma Hastings (Lawrence "Bud") and Marilyn VanDrasek.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra VanDrasek (Johnson) of Drasek's Red Raspberries; his children, Deborah VanDrasek Visin (James), Michelle Robillard and Daniel VanDrasek; his grandchildren, Lukas Visin and Jacqueline Karczewski (Joe); his great grandchild Jimmy; and his sister-in-law Marcia VanDrasek. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends.
Memorial contributions in Gordon's honor may be made to Michigan State University Extension-Agriculture Office or Corewell Health Caring Circle Hospice.
