It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Graciela Chavez (Watervliet, Michigan), born in Rio Grande City, Texas, who passed away on August 10, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Romero and Oralia Romero; and her siblings, Juan, Aldo, Lorenzo Romero, Diana Castillo and Leticia Aranda.

She is survived by: her husband Alfonso Chavez; her sons, Alfonso (Kelly), Jose (Tracy), Reynaldo (Angela) and Sebastian; and her brothers, Gerardo (Luisia) and Rodolfo Romero (Crystal).
