With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sonya Bromberek (Watervliet, Michigan), who passed away on October 29, 2025 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Sonya shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Sonya farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father James "Booker" Townsend; her children, Dirk Bromberek and Nicole Reice (Charlie); her mother Janice Wood (Ron); and her siblings, Sharon Townsend (Brant Berg), Steve Townsend (Kim), Tonya Thumm (Mike) and Neal Townsend (Kelly).
Visitation was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hutchins Funeral Home (209 S Main St, Watervliet, MI 49098). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
