It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bryce Everett Olson (Wayland, Michigan), who passed away on October 18, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret Anne Olson of Wayland; his siblings, Curtis Olson, Gerry Olson, Linda Brolin and Sandra Granquist; and his parents, John Olson and Eunice Olson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Denise Olson of Durham, Lori VanderKam (Jeff) of Wayland and Katherine Brower (James) of Alto, Michigan.; his grandchildren, Jessica VanderKam (Derek), Mitchell VanderKam (Kristi), Kaitlyn McGahan (Tyler), Madelyn Brower (Brennan), Dylan Brower, Carl Solik and Sean Solik (Alexis); and his siblings, Dennis Olson, Cynthia Zuidema (James) and Marcia Morris. He is also survived by his 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (128 Cedar St, Wayland, MI 49348). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Therese of Lisieux Church (128 Cedar St, Wayland, MI 49348).
Luncheon will be provided at the VFW Post, 735 S. Main St. Wayland, MI 49348, following the funeral Mass. In memory of Bryce and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Therese Catholic Church.
