It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Andrew Sevigny of Wayland, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on July 18, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his close friend Helen K. Winnie; his wife MaryAnne (Modreske); his parents, Lionel Sevigny and Jeanette Sevigny; and his brothers, Dick, Bill, Jerry and Ed Sevigny.
He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Sevigny, Rita Yeakey (Dave), Patti Pittman (Mike), Sue Holder (Dave), Cindy VanVolkinburg (Roger) and Billie Jo Redder.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Therese Catholic Church (128 Cedar St, Wayland, MI 49348).
In memory of Donald and in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Therese Catholic Church or Wings of Hope Hospice.
