She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Woodhams and Eunice Woodhams; and her husband Walter Steines of Wayland, Michigan.. She is survived by: her son Alan; her daughter-in-law Sherry Steines (Oliva) of Connecticut; her daughter Lois; her son-in-law Gordie Nickels of Byron Center; her grandchildren, Alexis Steines (Sean Rao) of Virginia, David Steines (Aly) of Maine, Christopher Steines (Wendy) of Connecticut, Lindsey Nickels of Byron Center, Sarah Nickels of Byron Center, Jillian (Nickels) and Boyd (Eric) of Clinton Township, Michigan; her great grandchildren, Matilda Steines, Eleanor Steines, Elias Rao, Jasper Rao and Addilynn Boyd; and her cousin Fred Woodhams (MaryLee) of Howell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
