She was predeceased by: her mother Joan Miller (Schaendorf); her parents-in-law, Angeline Smart and Richard Smart (June); her nephews, Dakota Mieras and Robert Smart Jr.; and her close friend Val Davis (Manke).
She is survived by: her father James Miller; her husband Jerry Smart Sr.; her son Jerry Smart Jr.; her siblings, Kathy Cornell (Rob), Kim Kukulies (Mike), Kelvin Miller (Stacy), Kari Kelly and Kristy Mieras (Lee); and her in-laws, Robert Smart (Ellen), Don Smart and Carrie Roberts (Roy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In memory of Kelly and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christian Neighbors Food Pantry in Wayland.
