He was predeceased by: his parents, Ward Haner Sr. and Eva Haner; his sisters, Becky Young and Pam Linderman; his former wife Carole Haner; and his brother-in-law Tom Martin.

He is survived by: his sister Cathey Martin; his children, David Haner, Shelly Haner, Dan Haner (Amy) and Ben Haner; his grandchildren, Nikki Carver (Clint), Liliana and Landen Haner; his great grandchildren, Kyson and Colt Carver; and his girlfriend Julie Coller.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a Veterans Home or the Wounded Warrior Project in Bud's honor.
