He is survived by: his children, Steve (Cindy), Kevin (Laura), Teri and Tamra VandenBerg (Mark); his grandchildren, Krysti Harrigan (Matt), Adam McMillion (Katie), Jordan McMillion (Monica), Brandon Hall (Cassie), Justin Hall (Sharon), Aaron Hall (Emili), Jennifer Opalewski (Matt), Chelsea Hopfner (Dustin), Emily Bimer (Derrick) and Megan Eichold; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn Begley (Bryson), Riley, Emmalyn, Brooklyn, Jude, Blakely, Quinn, Hunter, Lacey, Levi, Gracelyn, Gavin, Hailee, Hannah, Harper, Benjamin and Adalyn.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the L. J. Griffin Funeral Home-Westland (7707 Middlebelt Rd, Westland, MI 48185). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
