He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John F. Zweng and Mary J. Zweng; his siblings, Kristin Zweng, Leslie Omara and Melinda Bullock (David); and his nieces and nephews, Ryan Nichols, Zachary Nichols, Kaitlyn Nichols, Jacob Omara, Clara Bullock and Daniel Bullock.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Uht Funeral Home (35400 Glenwood Rd, Westland, MI 48186). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Hedwig Cemetery (23755 Military Rd, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127).
