He was predeceased by: his parents, John Birkenhier and Geraldine Birkenhier (Avendt); and his sister Rose Anne LaFata. He is survived by: his wife Diana Birkenhier; his sons, John Joseph Birkenhier, Ronald Birkenhier and Keith Birkenhier (Tracy); his grandchildren, Chelsea, Breanna, Blake, Bradley and Brandon; his great grandchild Courtney; and his brother Donald Birkenhier.
