It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Wendell Ayers (Wayne, Michigan), who passed away on December 26, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, G. B. and Louise. He is survived by: his wife Annie Johnson; his daughters, Kenya and DeLayne; his sister Helen Andrews; his siblings-in-law, Priscela (Ralph), Cleastine, Erie, Willie (Ida) and Lawrence (Marilyn); and his godchildren, Shawnda Henry, Wendell McLaughlin, Bethany Branch and Kenan Cross. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
