He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Newman and Zelona Newman (Locke); and his siblings, Maurice Newman and Mary Lou Newman. He is survived by: his wife Sonja (Petersen); his children, Kevin Newman (Beth) of Fowlerville, Karla Hague (Ed) of Webberville and Kirk Newman (Deanna Mitchell) of Lansing; his grandchildren, Rachel (Bob), Jordan, Blake (Sierra), Molly and Cody; his great grandchildren, Riley and Joey; and his siblings, David Newman of Gaines and Bernita Newman of Flint.
