She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Husen and Doloris "Jean" Van Husen; and her sister Linda. She is survived by: her husband Levi Vogt; her son Jeff; and her sister Marcia. She is also survived by the many family members, friends, church family, and children she loved.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Alchin Farms Cemetery (4501 Van Orden Rd, Webberville, MI 48892). A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, November 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Williamston Memorial Lutheran Church (1022 W Grand River Ave, Williamston, MI 48895). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 17th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Joan's memory to Williamston Memorial Lutheran Church, the Webberville Garden Club, or the Webberville FFA.
