Though Harry may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schafer and Minnie Schafer (Gross); and his siblings, Gertie Stewart Keusch (Bob), Thomas Schafer, Elizabeth Tschappat (Andy) and Roseann Schafer.
He is survived by: his brother Steve Schafer (Janet) of Weidman; his close friend Paula Clagett of Mt. Pleasant; and his sister-in-law Enid Schafer of Weidman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Clark Family Funeral Chapel & Cremation Service (114 S Bradley St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
