It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Pernick of West Bloomfield, Michigan, who passed away on May 9, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anne Pernick to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence R. Pernick; her sibling Morry Zelonka; her siblings-in-law, Roger Pernick, Marthe and Ray Riley; and her parents, Ben Zelonka and Bessie Zelonka.
She is survived by: her children, Rabbi Daniel Pernick (Ruth), Dr. Nat Pernick (Denise Walker) and Margo Pernick (Paul Goldshlack); her grandchildren, Sarah Dinin (Joel), Ben Pernick (Hila Drechler), Joshua Pernick (Hannah Kober), David Pernick, Sam Pernick, Rachel Pernick (Alex Tye), Leah Pernick, Amit Weitzer (Evan Major), Maya Weitzer (Matt Elia) and Talia Weitzer (Nick Sloan); her great grandchildren, Meira, Mikey, Jakey, Nadav, Raviv, Lior, Eitan, Chloe and Ethan; her sister-in-law Ruth; and her caregivers, Geramine and Lisa. She is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ira Kaufman Chapel (18325 W Nine Mile Rd, Southfield, MI 48075). A reception was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 at 9:00 PM, on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. A shiva was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 at the Home of Margo Pernick and Dr (30265 Ponds View Dr, Franklin, MI 48025).
