He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Becker and Rose Becker; his brothers, Harold and Nathan Becker; his wife Gloria Oxman; his sons, Bill (Fran), Ross (Judith) and Charleston of South Carolina; his grandchildren, Andrew and Caroline; and his granddaughter-in-law Amy.

Art and Gloria were married for 65 years, until Gloria's death from Alzheimer's disease in 2016.
