He was predeceased by: his brother Lawrence Newman (Libby); and his parents, Max Newman and Pearl Newman. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Joshua Newman, Max Newman (Amy) and Liz Newman (Brent DeBoer); his grandchildren, Jared, Eli Newman, Elijah, Ravi Appelman and Nathan Newman; his sister Lois Pearlman (late Benji); his pet Chai; and his caregivers, Shosanna, Carol and Carmen. He is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
